I took Jimking's very cool Galaxy S6 V2 widget and rearranged it to look like the Chronus clock and weather. This version uses a non-bold hour, because I wanted to have the zero suppressed on the hour, so it uses a text object for the clock with some shadowing. It also has some slight shading in case the wallpaper is too light, but that can be easily removed by deleting the layer object "Shade". Two hotspots are included: 1. At the update date to refresh the weather. 2. At the current temperature to go to the weather details. Attachment: Attachment:

Nice move because we always use. xwp files (package) for the galleries.. .. And is more easy and fast for who want to use the widget. A double click is enough for the pc, than extract ... |

sbs8331 please try to re-edit properly the widget through your pc.. I STRONGLY suggest you to create widgets ONLY on pc first and then pass it to your phone making the minor adjustments! It's very difficult make the opposite because on pc the widget appears "broken" with missing codes/tags. Edit it with the XW pc editor and you will understand what I mean.. |

You can edit and modify ready widgets without problems. The fact is that the procedure should be on pc than use the editor from the app itself. I use XWidget a lot and as I can see the app's editor is for minor adjustments than create widgets.. The pc editor is more fast, easy and the most important we sure that the widget will work properly. Let me try to fix your widget for you... ![]() |

Quote: What I did was to open the widge tusing the XWidget PC application (I had already modified it using my Android device), then, use the edit option and, without making any additional changes, That was the point buddy! You modified the widget on your phone first, but then when you open it on pc you didn't check it.. As I saw from others and now from you, seems that the widgets that are edited directly on phone are not fully compatible with the pc editor/program. That's why I suggested you to use only the pc editor.. You will not have any issue then. Trust me! ![]() Edit: Personally I never use the android editor. If I want to do any changes or create something, I use ONLY the pc editor. |

I edited all the parts of the widget.. and I uploaded it to the gallery! ![]() I don't need to tell you all the procedure. Here is the final full working version of the widget (for Android) to see from the inside.. Also deleted the useless icons/images from the SG6 widget that were in the folder. ..and I added your name for the Author's name. Ok, you started from my widget, but at the end the design and the idea was yours! You have some great ideas and I think that you should start to create widgets! We need people with new ideas and designs.

We need people with new ideas and designs. Thanks. I'm honored. As far as creating widgets, I'm not very creative. Most of what I've done is to modify a widget I like or to make it look like another one that I like (like this one). Two other widgets I've used in the past are Transparent Clock and Weather and HD Widgets. When I get a chance, I may take a shot at the 4x1 version of the former (1st widget below), though my current version of the 4x1 GS6 widget is fairly similar (2nd below). I'm really digging the Clear Glass Clock HD you uploaded yesterday. The coaching and assistance has been greatly appreciated. Attachment:

These 4x1 are great! I will post my widgets to the app's gallery soon. I just want to do it periodically to keep the "interst" alive... ![]() |

jimking wrote: These 4x1 are great! I understand about the periodic posting. Just to clarify, the first screen shot is the Transparent Clock and Weather 4x1 widget, not (yet) converted to XWidget. One slick feature of TCW is that, rather than the refresh time, it shows the length of time since the last refresh, e.g. "15 min ago". I know that's not a feature of XWidget, just an observation.

I posted two widgets clones of the "Transparent Clock and Weather" that you told me. ![]() (a slightly difference for the 4x1 widget, is that I moved all the right part closer to the left, because the widget appeared too small on the Android screen) I remind you that the widgets are working properly/have the right look only on PC for now.. I will post them on the app's gallery as soon as possible) |
