Hi Tony.

I do not understand one thing.
Why XWidget does not update in the background ???

E.g. Checking the weather now, OK, is refreshed, shows the current.
Then I do not use the phone for 2 hours. Refreshing I set for 30 minutes.
When you unlock the screen, I see an old weather and only now is refreshed.
This should not be. It's a serious bug !!!
Maybe that's why the clock is frozen.
I do not use task killer.
I do not use battery saver that turns off data when screen is off.
Internet data work non-stop in the background. GPRS or WIFI.

It is necessary to correct it.

Things that MUST be fixed and added in the next version.

1) Fix for the clock/time freezing bug for some (especially new) roms.
2) Fix the weather auto-updating bug for some (especially new) roms.
3) Fix the "create widget" that doesn't load/work.
4) People complain that the settings/temp units are not saved. We all know here that this is logical when you put a new widget on screen, the widget will load its default settings. But the APPLICATION SETTINGS should somehow overwrite it.
4) Add a "search" option for the online gallery.

EXTRA: Update the pc designer so all of us can use and test widgets that use these components.

Freeze the clock when unlocking the screen is caused by the lack of action XWidget in the background, refreshing weather in the background when the screen is off.
If I'm set to refresh every 30 minutes and unlock the screen, for example an hour, then it refreshes the weather, which blocks the clock.
If you do it in less than 30 minutes, the clock works well.
To repair:

Proposal:
XWidget not running in the background. This is the reason for freezing the clock and not updating the weather.
I'm not a programmer, but some applications have also services. Such a service running in the background even when the app is closed.
In my opinion XWidget such a service does not have, hence the constant problems.

Hi,just downloaded new version 1.0.9 and when I press the online widget to start downloading the app crashes (tried with all widgets).I restarted my phone,uninstalled and installed again,tried older versions....same problem.Can u tell me please why this is happening? Maybe is a compatibility problem with the CM rom.. (?) (I don't think that lollipop causes it)
But the Dev will take a look. (he's working for the next update)

Please activate the "Italic" option for the fonts.. Only the fonts that are made as italic appear properly. Activate the italic for a normal font through the designer, doesn't work on Android..

BUG: When I select the ${Time} tag - text align "left", the position of the text is not actually on the top left, but leaves an empty space (like the hidden zero is there)

Clock and Weather operate perfectly on the widget. All refreshes in the background. The clock does not freeze.

CONCLUSION: The problem with the clock in XWidget, not in the system KitKat !!!

The menu is XWidget Update Interval. Suppose that I set for 30 minutes and in the widget or 30 minutes.

As I know for the pc version, the update interval changes through the right click options without change the core's value through the designer. Same thing should happens in the Android version using the widget's options touching on from the homescreen.

Go in the 'Weather Details' screen, use the dots menu on top right and change the update interval time from there.

If Tony reads these forums, the only bug I've noticed is that the rotation for $(SecondPercent) isn't correct on a rotator. This bug only happens on Android. I've tested this on Windows and it rotates correctly. On Android, it seems to rotate inbetween second markers, skip markers and the bug Jimking noticed that when at 50% the entire image shifts. I'd also like to see smooth rotation added for seconds where it takes 60 seconds to make a continuous sweep around.

Thank you Kensupen for your report. This happens from the first version. I think that Tony didn't optimize it because the activation of the seconds in general increases a lot the ram and battery usage of the app. So the initial thought was to create an app ram and battery friendly. That's why there are not clocks with seconds. I agree that it will be cool having the possibility to upload animated clocks but Tony needs to optimize the rotator for the secs as you said and the consumption of course. Until then we prefer have lowest battery and ram usage than animations.

You're welcome Slavoo. But as I told you Tony should 1st fix it because XWidget must have the notifications ON and 2nd tell us the changelog.
The notifications of the app show when a widget is downloading and the popup msgs when a new widget is installed and when the weather is updated. The app works the same but as the unchecked option says without
notifications.. and I don't like that. I'm sure that Tony forgot it except there is a reason to do it.
I will stay with v1.1.1 for now waiting for Tony's reply.........

Personally I notice improvement on the app's loading screens and galleries. All load much faster now and a couple of bugs that I notice in the galleries are fixed. We will wait for Tony 's comment to see if there is more..
I still don't like the fact that the notifications should be off to get rid of the status bar info, because the download process is invisible now... A good and bad update at the same time. This SHOULD BE FIXED! I sent a pm to Tony to check this topic and reply..

One thing that I notice is that I have two widgets on my homescreen one clock-weather and the other one only weather. I press update weather to both widgets but are show different conditions. The one actually doesn't update and show the temp/conditions from yesterday night... And this is not the first time that happens
Galaxy S7 Edge 7.0. You should re-add the widget to make it work.

I don't know but the stabilty of the weather info on screen is not good at all. Very often the widget shows different conditions and the weather sometimes simple doesn't update. I don't know but Tony should spend some real time to the app. It's not acceptable have still these bugs all this time and without any new feature.. Android app has so many things that we can add but we are in the same position for a couple of years now...

I have no problems with the time digital or analog. The weather sometimes not works properly. I would like to see more optimization for more than one widgets on screen and the return of the previous status with notifications on. I went back to v1.1.1 as it's essential function. I bother me the fact that the app has so many potentials adding new supported elements and update the Deisgner to support them too, but for a couple of years the things are stopped...
