Post subject: | Transform pictureframe (with slideshow) possible? |
Hi, sorre for my bad english- All pictureframes with slideshow are buildet with a straight rontal view. But I wish to place one frame at the sidewall at my wallpaper- a wall in a slanting perspective (angle). So I like to transform the pictureframe widget also- like this: [img][/img] Is this possible, maybe in the edit o the widget? Best regards Mike |

Hi Mike. You mean to change the way of the wallpaper is shown on your desktop, after you use the "set as wallpaper" option? |

the wallpaper is settet like my picture and I like to place a pictureviewer at this wall (above of one picture), but all viewers are in frontal view so i like to transform the viewer like the wall (like trapez but I need only one corner- bottom left). It´s hard to translate my prob into english, sorry, I will do it better in german, smile) |

If you mean how you can change the visual of the pictures creating a photo album widget, you need to change the "WrapMode" under the picture's Attributes tab of the editor. The editor can't create 3d irregular pictures /frames though. Except create a 3d frame and use the "Mask" option /trick. Check this for example http://jimking.deviantart.com/art/XWidg ... -418358278 |

your example is exactly what I mean- the both sidely frames left and right. How can I transform a normal viewer (frontal view) in a Viewer like the left or right frame in your example? |

You're welcome Mike. Please check these sections: viewforum.php?f=10 viewforum.php?f=7 viewforum.php?f=8 where you can find tutorials and a lot of help/informations/assistance about the widgets and XW in general. The best way though, is to check/edit the posted widgets and learn step by step the editor and how the things work , like I did.. After a while you will see that it's easy and you will create great widgets! |

Thanks a lot, Dimitris. It looks like a lot of time is needed for this- normaly I dont like to create my own widgets because there are a lot of very beautiful, ready to work widgets in the net-like yours:-) It was only this one widget wich will make me happy forever... but to study the completly engine just to change the oilfilter is to hard, smile. Maybe there will be a lot of interest for my idea- and maybe you will do this sometimes... one for the left wall and one for the right wall, both with two flexible corners on the right side to fit them in any ankle... If so, please tell me and I will spend a donation- for me it´s worth a tribut for your work! Thank you for your help and wasting your time with me- best regards to Italy from Germany yours Mike |
