The program is still free to download and use. The pro version offers full access to the online gallery.
Users can still create widgets and share but NOT sell them or use them for personal benefits. Since the program is semi-free now and the designer is part of a paid software, the user agreements say that the dev has the right to include any widget created in the official gallery.
That doesn't matter if you have an old version. The new state overwrites the old one.
The designer was and is part of the program.
