| Post subject: | Icons Do Not Stay Where Placed When Not Auto Arranging Icons |
I want to place my application icons on different places on the layout so I turned off the Auto Arrange Icon option. When I drag some of the icons to where I want them, they stay where they have been placed. However, some others revert back to their original locations when I release them. This is particularly noticeable when trying to move the icons down to the lower half of the screen. They just jump back up. It's as though some of them are auto arranging and others are not. Is there a way I can force an icon to a specific location on the screen? Thanks, Joyce |

I have figured out what the problem was. My settings originally had 5 rows allowed on the layout tab. When I changed this value to 8, I was able to move my icons further down the screen. |
