Hello, Yesterday I installed ADW launcher 2 premium or paid version because I wanted the new look of Android N and Galaxy S8 on my old LG HUB, everything works fine but my XWidget 2.0 clock and weather can't get any update by themselves, I tried to change temes, skins, and reinstalled the xwidgets with no luck, Oddly Xwdget still works fine on other launchers and I never had a problem before, I hope you can help me, thanks for reading and your awesome widgets NUMBER ONE on the world. |

I personally use Adw launcher 2 prime almost from the first moment and I don't have any problem running XWidget widgets clock and weather. Tested with 6.0.1 and now with Nougat 7.0 The widget is actually an app that works not depending on the launcher. So it's really strange what you're reporting skeleto2005.. And since XWidget worked before depends on something else.. Could you pls give me more infos like the version of the OS of your phone, XWidget was installed before the ADW installation on that phone and worked fine? Which version of XWidget and ADW you're using.. I'm trying to understand because it's all strange.. |

Thanks for your reply Jimking yes Xwidget was installed before and always works fine on any launcher but ADW 2. I installed old ADW and xwidget works with no issues, looks like there‘s something on ADW and my android version (2.3) in conflict. As I said everything works fine now on old ADW, I had to uninstall new ADW 2. |

Yes surely there is a compatibility issue with new version of ADW. I use ADW 2 prime as my default launcher and XWidget works fine but with newer OS versions. That Android version is really too old..especially for the launchers! You can flash a newer Rom or install another launcher. It's logical that new apps can have compatibility issues with old roms. If you have any other question or you need help feel free to post it in our forum. |
