I had an issue with weather not updating correct photos and found out it was hanging on update to server. I then say the proxy option, clicked that and all now works as it should.
Is it ok to use the proxy setting?
Maybe it should be checked to on by default to avoid this happening to others?

This happened again today even with proxy checked so doesn't seem to fix the issue. I tried to restart the widget but that didn't work. The only thing that worked was to restart the Xwidget program itself.
This may happen after computer wakes from hibernate.

Just thought I would note it in case it is something that can be looked at

Pete check if you have the latest version of XWidget 1.9.3.1022.
When the computer works again after hibernate the weather widget will update in the default set time of the widget. So after 30min or 1 hour. Depends of what you set. To update the weather at any time use the right click option OR better press once everywhere on the widget and press F5 (reload). This "issue" was reported again from a users so maybe the hidernation causes it...
