Hi guys, i had an idea while making some widgets for a theme, so i thought on making the suggestion, it would be cool if Xwidget V2 had a "Elements Library" to save memory usage.
So for example, by creating a New "Elements" folder named "Theme_1" we could include/import all elements we would be using in a determined widgets Set for "Theme 1" : png's, jpg's, audio files, fonts, etc. So then, when creating the widgets, instead of importing the same jpg's & sounds & fonts several times (once for each widget), we can call the "Elements_Library/Theme_1/xxx.jpg" to be loaded once instead of various times from the various different widgets, also saving disk space.
Basically a Library of resources that would be shared by all widgets using that library instead of duplicated resources inside each widget folder
I think that would improve memory usage, disk usage, and probably also software stability, besides making widget development process faster.
have a good weekend!
