Sometimes when I'm default and icon images, you do not have an image in the background.

Image backgroud is from accuweather

I do not get this question?

Default images are displayed ONLY when widget is loading and is removed afterwards.

** We use a little trick, by using the same images as default image and background, we achieve an illusion as if our widgets awoke form sleep

You need to check if ALL the weather images have the same file extension.
If the weather tag code is this for example "wth\${curWeatherIcon}.png" you need to check if ALL images are png.
Epecially when you use .jpg images: "wth\${curWeatherIcon}.jpg"
Check if any of them is .jpeg than .jpg :!:
