The code search function does not currently remember the last string that was searched for. This is painful to use when you come from any other editor/IDE. In the Xwidget IDE if you search for a string and then cancel the search box in order to move it out of the way when you next pull up the search box again it is blank. The only workaround to retain the previous search string is to keep the search box always open and manually slide it away to an unused area of screen, that is not ideal by any means as it takes up valuable screen space.
The code search function should always remember the last search at the very least. Preferably, it should contain a list of the last few searches so that you may select which string to continue searching for. A simple improvement like this would transform the search functionality from being clunky and painful to being slick and useful in operation.
