QUESTION: The designer should not also be updated to support with these new components..??

I'M MISSING SOMETHING?

It is NOT POSSIBLE to test because I have only empty widgets on my screen, or widgets that doesn't show up all the components or freeze the Android Mode-Send to phone function.
I have installed the 1.0.8 into three phones to see the weather and the digital clocks behaviour
- Galaxy S cyanogenmod 4.4.2
- Galaxy S2 rooted 4..0.3
- Galaxy S5 5.0

For now seem to work ok..

BUGS (for now):
1)The list selection is broken for the 5x sizes or whatever. Some 4x sizes appear twice
2)The right click option with more than 7-8 menus is still broken (reported but is not fixed)

Now about the location/GPS Slavoo can tell us more....

Tony, what about the "SEARCH" function??? Is very important! I don't know how hard is to add this , but for more than 1000 widgets in the list is a MUST HAVE now..

SAME freezing problem for the digital clock on Galaxy S cyanogenmod 4.4.2. I have to click on to fix it

Hot info:

When unlocking the screen, the widget may be updated and then the clock is frozen. The time on the clock is not refreshed.

Conclusion: The clock is not running in the background when the screen is off.

About the clock:
On the SGS 4.4.2 seems that works randomly.
On SGS2 4.0.3 and SGS5 5.0 seems that work ok on both phones. Now if I notice something new I will report it..

I notice that the auto-update of the weather with wifi on maybe is also damaged.... Or there is a delay or not works at all..

Location:
I have included internet data, WIFI and GPS !!!
Do not improved. Accuweather app shows the correct location.
Location in Xwidget is offset from the normal to the south.

Tony says that data from the position of the phone are sent to Accuweather, and there is retrieved location. But why the application Accuweather tells a different story, and Xwidget what else?

Accuweather uses GPS, Xwidget not. Maybe this is the reason?


Now I set the autoupdate for 12 hours. Checking the clock will be frozen.
I will write later what came out ...

I think that my position agrees perfectly with Google Maps

About the auto-update of the weather with the wifi works now.. In any case a second check will be good..

Slavoo as I can understand from your report, the clock on your phone is freezing during the screen is off. So when you unlock your phone the clock shows false time already, right?

I understand that BETA, but since we reported the errors they should be fixed in the next update. BETA version is for reporting errors.

Yeah, I guess you're right. After the entry into deep sleep or if you no longer use phone that the clock is frozen.

But I have the impression that the clock freeze occurs during autoupdate, even if the screen is off.

Generally, I find it hard to judge, because once the clock is fine, once it is frozen.
I do not know where is the error in the code.

It must necessarily improve and, if possible, the location, which is shifted to the south.

Another report:

I noticed again that the weather does not always updated when you turn on the screen. For example, I have set refresh every 30 minutes and turn on the screen after 2 hours. It works differently. Refreshes or not.

@jimking, Tony probably had not fixed the error, because the change log, nothing is written on this topic

I think that Tony does not know how to fix these errors with a clock and therefore in this update have not been repaired. For half a year to do it.

Final conclusions from the test:

LG G2 - KitKat 4.4.2 v20 Europe

Location:
1. Relative to the original application Accuweather, XWidget shows the location shifted south compared to the real one.
2. Fancy Widget shows the location consistent with the application Accuweather. Perhaps it uses a different engine / core, so it can be repaired so that XWidget show the correct location!
3. The correct location also shows weather original Samsung Galaxy S3, so it's not the fault of Accuweather.

Clock:
1. Freezing the clock after unlocking the screen.
2. The clock is functioning properly when the Internet data is off.
3. The problem with the clock occurs when autoupdate.

If you can not fix the aforementioned errors, please refer to Fancy Widget application code or to code the original forecast weather Samsung Galaxy S3!

If not, this is a big surprise..!

Also this is still happens and MUST be fixed (comment taken from a user on playstore)
The temperature should be the last known temperature instead of blank on offline mode

ANOTHER BUG!!!

The "Disable ALL banners" doesn't work properly.
- When is UNCHECKED there is no banner!
- When is CHECKED appears a white empty banner on the bottom..

Really what is this beta all about....!?

A very strange thing. I walked in editing, on the phone. On the CORE I have 3 times accuweathercore1
I do not know why until 3!
I deleted two, I was one. Everything works and what's interesting unless the clock has stopped freeze up.
I'll check it thoroughly yet.

Another interesting issue is the copying of such a revamped widget to computer entire CORE AccuWeather gone.!

In phone in options I pressed the EDIT WIDGET
OTHERS tab found CORES
I had 3 times the core accuweathercore1
I deleted two, was 1 core accuweather1
The widget works, and the clock is frozen only 0.5 seconds when unlocking the screen.
But it's still testing a .....

The entire folder widget (with the change in the phone, removal of two core accuweathercore1) moved to the computer.
The computer was gone the whole accuweathercore1
I had to re-select BlindCore

More simply I do not know how to write. Google Translator is no good

About this widget I don't see any error, except the default image that every time should be EMPTY, 1) because during loading shows old data, and this is not good and 2) facilitate the loading procedure to minimize the errors, because the widget needs double time to load properly.

Now on Android, I edited the widget and yes I see 2 accuweather cores there. But I checked some widgets made by me and I don't see double cores! The cores and the components are added from who creates the widgets ONLY.. So....?
Also, speaking for your widget, I'm pretty sure that the clock works for me because as I told many times here I NEVER HAD problem with freezing time on my S2 with 4.0.3. It's all about rom and compatibility Slavoo.

Let me test and recreate the widget and will post my version here. OK? I'm curious what you will see!

Also avoid the symbols &,@,*," for the widget name because cause problems during the uploading on phone and gallery...

Check this one and tell me.. (ON ANDROID)
* Created from the scratch
* Touch the clock to set the clock app
* Touch the accuweather logo to open the weather website
* Touch the refresh button to update
* Added "edit shortcut" right click menu in case you want to re-assign the shortcut + 12h/24h
* New default image
* Edit the date tag
* Edit the widget's name
* Removed the two shortcuts (for me useless but you can add them again if you want)
* Removed the "dot_time" from the numbers folder
* Delete an extra useless image "ttt" from the weather folder

STEPS TO FOLLOW:
1) Delete the previous (your widget)
2) Clear the app's cache through the settings
3) Copy the folder to XWidget->widgets folder of your phone with usb
4) Refresh the local gallery
5) Test

For me works 100% - No double cores - No clock freezing

I set the autoupdate weather for 15 minutes. Does not refresh automatically. Why?

My widget when i refresh / unlock the screen freezes for a few seconds clock.
Your widget when i refresh / unlock the screen freezes the clock to 0.5 seconds.

Both tests under erased overlapping accuweathercore1 (in my widget)

Two questions:
1. Why are some accuweathercore1 on the phone ????? (in my widget - 3)
2. If I delete duplicate accuweathercore1 and leave only one, I move the widget to my computer, it does not at all accuweathercore1 !!!

WTF ???

In my widget, after deleting unnecessary accuweathercore1 and dropping only one (editing on my phone) it is better than it was, because it stops only for a while, about 2-4 seconds

For me it's important to run the clock and location. I'm on the phone v1.8
It was to be added to the GPS location was correct.
I'll even test different widgets on autoupdate 15 and 30 minutes
Overall, I am reasonably happy at the moment, though not completely.

I hope that Tony will come soon with the new version will be corrected XWidget where ALL THE BUGS
And I also hope that we will not wait for an update the next six months.

It seems to me that the problem with the location (at least at the moment) has been resolved. In my opinion, the fault was with the supplier weather or Accuweather. Today in the morning I moved around my town and during the trip I checked the location, both in XWidget and Accuweather. Both applications showed PROPER location.
At the weekend we leave out of the city and there will I tested the next location.

Despite solve this problem (now, today, I do not know how it will later on) please to Tony added GPS option XWidget!

I tested last location and it seems that everything is in order. However, not completely. Today, on the way to work, I learned that I'm in location, in which I was three days ago!
After the forced refresh the widget, XWidget show the correct location.
This error also was not repaired.

What is the Catalogue
XWidget / Cache / weather ???
Are there any old data. Maybe by this error occurs?
