I know what do you mean, and it will be awesome. "Unfortunately" this is not possible.. These are animations created though coding and not using a kind of video format.. But even with an mp4 video file that very often the android apps use (like GO Weather for the weather conditions), this should be converted in png files with all the frames. XWidget for pc supports only pnganimated and gifs and NO SUPPORT for XWidget app. So is not possible to have animations...
The only way is the support for animated png. I don't know if the Dev will decide to add this because is difficult to have a balance with the ram and battery consumption. And surely we want an app with ~0 resources..
